I’ll be staying on oahu for a week in sept. I was wondering if there are any private beaches I can go to. I don’t mind paying money to go there. And what are all the main attractions in oahu? Any answers would be really helpful.

I dont know about private beaches, but you can get a killer hotel deal if you use a corporate travel broker like www.corporatetravelgifts.com – they give wholesale hotel pricing for less than hotwire, you can get a good deal for 5 days in Oahu at a nice resort for just $399 for 2 adults. Use whatever extra $ you save to do fun stuff on the island – Good luck!

Go to kaneohe bay, there’s normally no one there, but it’s pretty much on the opposite side of the island from honolulu. my favorite thing to do is go on Captain Bob’s Snorkeling cruise, it’s pretty much an all day thing, but it’s so fun. you can play volleyball on a sandbar, then they cook you a BBQ lunch, then they take you out so you can go snorkeling. it’s a really great experience.

wow I actually agree with 2 posters – "Go to kaneohe bay, there’s normally no one there, but it’s pretty much on the opposite side of the island from honolulu." – that is a GOOD recommendation – but also so is the website that was recommended if you need a good deal on where to stay. They have a fantastic Oahu package for 5 days & you really can’t beat it. The resorts they offer are Ohana which are 4 star & really nice.

My sister used that same pckg for her honeymoon & had a great time, I recommend it also! Mahalo!
