There are many places in the world that has great surf. Depending on what you surf and what type of waves you like surfing then this will depend on what you think is perfect surf.

All around at Australia including famous breaks; Bells, Margaret River, Kirra, Noosa, Snapper Rocks, Duranbah

New Zealand – Raglan

In all The Pacific Islands – Cloudbreak, Teahupoo

Indonesia – Nias, Uluwatu, G land, Padang padang, Lances

South Africa – J bay, Cape St francis, all around Durban

Europe – Mundaka, Meniakos, Thurso, Biarritz, Belharra, Hossegor

So if you thought that the only place to get great surf is Tahiti and Hawaii then you need to open your eyes and look further afield.

Waikiki is perfect in November to learn how to surf. You don’t need the monster waves of the North Shore to have fun. There are breaks to enjoy from Waikiki all the way around Diamond Head.
