Dallas is in the central time zone, which is UTC-6 in standard (CST) and UTC-5 in daylight (CDT) times.
Hawaii is on Hawaiian Standard time (HST) year round, which is UTC-10.
So, there’s a 4 hour difference during standard time, and a 5-hour difference during daylight time.

Hello,
For gift baskets, I am trying to purchase 2 oz gift packs of Kona coffee. Can anyone recommend a coffee company/plantation in Hawaii that produces the best Kona coffee in Hawaii. I am looking a pure Kona coffee not a blend.
The company MUST be Hawaiian since these gift baskets are Hawaiian themed.
Thanks
Thanks Lori

the question says it all
A lot of the large hotels rent boogie boards right on the beach if the resort is on the beach. I’ve done this many times.
Just wondering what the miles are….not the air miles though…thanks

I am looking for the cheapest way of getting to Hawaii (Kona) Island.
Anyone been? Anyone got any ideas.
Thanks.
Cheapest I could find with a quick search was £540 but it depends when you’re going. To get the cheapest prices try and fly midweek and departing in the evening. Demand is lower then.

The Goal: Christmas on the Big Island!
The Questionz: From what city, airline, etc. can I get the lowest-priced round-trip airfare from the continental US (canada too?) to Kona, Hawaii, for this coming December/January??
Thanks for being up to the challenge and for helping me out!
Check out www. hawaiianair.com. Also have a look into the local newspaper: www.honoluluadertiser.com, on their jome page click into Island life then Travel and then travel adds.
We wewre there recently and saw some real cheap offers in that newspaper.
any other tips for visiting hawaii?
i guess that’s the most asked question when is the best weather visiting hawaii? compared to the rainy cold mainland weather in winter, starting with late november, any time is good escaping to hawaii. of course, snow birds prefer the winter months.
what can you expext for visiting kona in november? kona and kohala coast are located on the west coast of the big island and are blessed with sunny, dry, warm weather all year round. kona can be extremely hot during summer month. november weather will be very pleasant, providing no winter storm is passing through. can happen though. all hawaiian islands are more prone to those during the winter months.
we/hawaii got to get some rain from time to time, even though we feel sorry for those unlucky visitors who get hit by the rare rain.
i also tell big island visitors how else can they experience those most impressive pictures of mauna kea and mauna loa volcanoes covered in snow and sparkling in the tropical sun??!!! have fun in kona. go north to the kohala coast too…great beaches, easy access to mauna kea summit and visit waipio and pololu valley. aloha, pua
fun in the sun
